RACP conducted detailed study on each cluster to identify value chain commodities in agricultural and allied sector which have potential competitive advantage in the cluster. Value chain studies were conducted to understand the opportunities and constraints for developing value chain of commodities and suggesting interventions for value addition in various stages in the value chain. The value chain study of commodities have provided opportunities for farmers to increase in gross margins in crops and livestock products and increase in their share in the wholesale price. Suitable and replicable business ideas on the commodities in the identified value chain studies in agriculture and allied sectors were considered for developing Technological Detailed Project Reports (DPRs). A list of 40 DPRs is planned under the project by ABPF consultant. Following list of 17 DPRs have been developed for the first year.
